Do you like your food cold, hot, or at room temperature? Well, if frozen is your go-to treat, then ice cream has to be on top of your list to boost mood. However, if you are the one watching your weight or suffering from unfortunate allergies, ice cream never sounds like a good idea. But wait, it still is, try a vegan ice cream!

In this fast-paced world, food remains a vital part of our lives — we eat to live. And in many forms of delicacies, there is a considerable group of people who are not fond of consuming some foods. The reasons behind this vary: medical, preference and others are allergic. And one such group is the vegan community.

In this group, however, they are constrained to sticking to particular foods. No meat. No dairy. No animal fats. And that leads us to our question, what boost mood foods can they eat since all snacks and treats never miss the forbidden ingredients. Well, there is a glimpse of hope as the following eight natural vegan ice creams can be supplements to boost mood at any time of the day.

1. Blackberry Mango Sundae

For this delicious piece of heaven, you need –

  • Sweetened flaked coconut
  • Raspberry sorbet
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Mango sorbet
  • Blackberry flavor
  • Fresh blackberries.

First, you preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then, in a shallow baking pan, spread a layer of coconut and toast it for about 10 minutes until browned.

Next, use a sharp knife to cut through the sides of each sorbet and ice cream containers and discard the plastics. On the pints left cut into six slices and stack them into a tower of joy. Lastly, drizzle the toasted coconuts and blackberries.

2. Asian Pear Sorbet with Thyme

For vitamins to boost energy and mood, you will relish this vegan ice cream. You need –

  • Granulated sugar
  • Fresh thyme
  • Vanilla bean
  • Asian pear fruits.

To begin, you will bring the first three condiments to boil mixed with some water, then simmer until all the sugar has dissolved. By now, you will have a thick sweet syrup.

Next, transfer the syrup to a food processor, add pears, and blend, then refrigerate it for about one hour. After that, process the sorbet into an ice cream maker and freeze on a baking pan covering it with a plastic wrap. All done!

3. Tropical Avocado Ice Cream

Of all the fruits, avocados are one joy that knows how to boost your mood, even as a cold vegan ice cream treat. For this, gather –

  • Peeled avocados
  • Lime juice
  • Lime zest
  • Coconut cream
  • Vanilla extract
  • Coconut oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Tiny sliced lime pieces

The process is very straightforward: you mix all the ingredients except the lime slices.

Next, you blend it all until smooth, pour into a loaf pan, garnish with lime pieces, and freeze for at least 3 hours. This is one of the best keto supplements you can make at home.

4. Coconut Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

For foods to boost mood and energy, this vegan treat will have you salivating. To make it, you require –

  • Coconut flakes
  • Coconut cream
  • Frozen bananas
  • Maple syrup
  • Vanilla extract
  • Vegan chocolate

Step one, you blend the frozen bananas until they form crumbs. Step two, combine the coconut cream, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth.

Lastly, you pulse the coconut and chocolate, bring all that boost mood items together, and enjoy over a cone.

5. Matcha Green Tea Coconut Ice Cream

You will need –

  • Coconut milk
  • Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • Matcha green tea powder
  • Medjool dates
  • Honey
  • Xanthan gum

For starters, blend both kinds of milk, the matcha powder, honey, adding the xanthan gum until well mixed. Let that mix chill first before processing it in an ice cream maker.

After churning, freeze the mix and consume when ready. Green tea is one of the best foods that will boost your mood any day!

6. Mint Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream

For this delicacy, you will need –

  • Maple syrup
  • Cacao blend
  • Coconut oil
  • Coconut flesh
  • Coconut water
  • Soaked cashews
  • Coconut sugar
  • Mint leaves. 

To make the chunks, melt the coconut oil and mix everything else to create a smooth cream and freeze. When solid, cut into chunks and refrigerate.

To make the ice cream, blend everything to a yogurt-like thickness. Add in the lumps and process using an ice cream maker. Voilà, you are done. After that, freeze and enjoy.

7. Almond and Cherry Ice Cream

The ingredients to achieve this treat are as follows –

  • Non-dairy milk
  • Soft dates
  • Almond butter
  • Salt
  • Almond extract
  • Vanilla extract
  • Chopped almonds
  • Dried cherries
  • Cacao nibs

Place all the cream components in a powder blender and process. Next, you pour the ice cream mixture into a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze.

To serve, let the mix thaw for a bit, and garnish with the almonds, cherries, and cacao nibs for a boost mood dessert.

8. Caramel Vegan Ice Cream

You will need –

  • Caramel
  • Sugar
  • Coconut oil, and coconut cream to make the caramel sauce.

You start by boiling to make the syrup. Then you proceed to churn the mix using an ice cream maker, freeze, then serve and devour!

You can have as it is or garnish with some more ingredients, with vitamins to boost energy and mood.

Exercise may boost the production of mood-elevating brain chemicals known as endorphins. That is why you feel so elevated, re-freshened, and energized after a proper working out session.
